Animal Assistance Society's Bazaar and Auction

The Animal Assistance Society’s Big Bazaar was held April 18th at the Ukrainian Black Sea Hall. It was a great day to browse the tables with over 150 auction items. There was a rummage sale, a penny sale and knitting & baking delights. The volunteers were very happy with the community support for the cause. The Animal Assistance Society of the Niagara Region is a registered non-profit charity that has been providing assistance to animals in need for more than 25 years. Operated by volunteers only, the AAS receives no government funding. They advocate spaying and neutering, provide veterinary care and shelter for rescued animals in distress, find quality foster care and permanent homes for as many strays and unwanted animals as possible and assist with shared expenses if possible. There is a desperate need for temporary foster homes at this time. Can you help? For more information call 905-322-6429 or visit www.animalassistancesociety.ca
