RCL Branch 350 Open House
On September 19th following a wreath laying ceremony, Branch 350 Port Dalhousie hosted an Open House and graciously opened their facility free of charge to local charity organizations and small businesses to pass out information about their services. The week of September 20 - 26, was Legion Week within Ontario Command of the Royal Canadian Legion. The RCL is a non-profit organization assuming the responsibility of maintaining the tradition of Remembrance of those who paid the supreme sacrifice by defending our great nation in past and present conflicts, so that we as Canadians can live in the freedom that we enjoy today! The RCL continues to support and represent our Veterans of past and present with many benefits as a result of the efforts of thousands of dedicated members at all levels of the organization. Legion Branches work with their affiliated organization, the Ladies Auxiliary, to raise funds in support of the numerous programs benefiting our Veterans, seniors and youth within our communities.
