Linhaven Family Day Picnic

The Rose Garden was the perfect setting for the Resident & Family Day Picnic at Linhaven Home on Sunday, September 13th. Excitement filled the air with happy sounds of families visiting, kids having a great time on the Giant Double Slide and Train Ride, steam whistles, and music from a North Tonawanda Military Band Organ! A great BBQ lunch was orchestrated by the Linhaven Auxiliary for the annual fundraiser. Guests enjoyed the BBQ with fresh corn cooked using Elmer’s Steam engine, and ended with delicious peaches and ice cream. The “Fall Fair Theme” included a fresh preserves competition. All proceeds from the event benefit Linhaven. A wonderful afternoon was had by all!
