Family Day at the St. Catharines Museum
Family Day Weekend at the St. Catharines Museum was a great success. Visitors explored the inspiring adventure of Pack Your Bags: A Kid’s Ticket to Travel. A traveling exhibition produced by the Canadian Museum of Civilization, this fun-filled day helped children explore why people travel and how traveling can change us. Children made their own “memory travel case” to hold their favourite memories of the day. There were also prizes to be won and a game, Where’s Mr. Bagg, in which children helped to find this lively imaginary traveler who has lost his way. The kids loved the exhibit and as one young visitor said, “we came for a half hour and stayed for 2 hours.”
