Carstar Soaps it up for Cystic Fibrosis
Carstar locations across Canada participated in the 7th Annual National Carwash in support of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on June 12th. For $5 you could get your car washed, but in addition there was a BBQ, special draws and special guest Greg Frewin also came for a visit! Over the past 7 years Carstars across Canada have raised more than $1.7 million to support research for a cure to this deadly disease. Cystic Fibrosis is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting children and young adults across Canada. There is no cure but there is hope. The foundation raises funds to support patient care clinics and transplant centres across Canada. They are also advocates on behalf of the CF community with government and health organizations and promote public awareness and education about Cystic Fibrosis.
