Dublin Dash 5K
The Dublin Dash 5k Fun Run/Walk was held on March 17, (that’s right, St. Patrick’s Day!) put on by Niagara College Event Management students. The fundraising event was held in support of the Many Hands Project and this year’s recipient, St. John Ambulance Lincoln County. The Dublin Dash was open to both seasoned and new runners as well as walkers and each participant received a gift bag with a t-shirt, water bottle and more. The race route began at the Niagara College's NOTL campus up Taylor Road to Woodend and back. The race was a prediction run (all runners guess their time beforehand, no watches were allowed, and the top closest guesses won prizes). The post race celebration at the Niagara College Campus included live entertainment, food and beverage, prizes were awarded for first lad, first lass, best fundraiser, best costume and top closest predictions, as well as a silent auction with winter and sports related items
