Youth Forum Looks For Solutions
The Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee of St. Catharines Youth Forum met on March 27 to discuss several issues surrounding youth. The goal of the forum, comprised of students from public schools, high schools and private schools, is to not only raise public awareness but to come up with solutions toward a number of topics including: stereotyping, mental health, bus routes, increasing the number of recycle bins in both schools and the community, hydration stations. To speak to issues, educate, and receive information were representatives from Gillian’s Place, Walk So Kids Can Talk, Change the World and more. In addition, everyone enjoyed a wonderful lunch served by Antipastos.
