Habitat Niagara's Appreciation Event

Last month, Habitat for Humanity Niagara hosted their Awards Ceremony and Annual General Meeting for 2011. The event was sponsored by the Americana Conference Resort and Spa on Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls. The community of friend’s, partners and sponsors gathered to hear the “Bridges Out of Poverty” keynote address delivered by Vickie Komar and honoured five new inductees to Habitat’s Foundation Builders Hall of Fame. Since 1993 Habitat has served almost 40 families in Niagara through their unique home ownership program. The organization is set to begin building more houses in September.
