Walk-Run for LIFE

Volunteers put their best foot forward to support the Walk / Run for the Niagara Life Centre on April 21. The event started at the Grantham Lions Club for the 5K walk,1K and 5K timed fun runs along the Welland Canal Parkway. 610 CKTB News Talk radio announcer Kevin Jack hosted the presentation of awards and prizes to top runners and pledge collectors. Celebrations offered participants a BBQ lunch, cotton candy, facepainting, a clown making sculptured ballons, and crafts for children. Funds raised will support the NLC, a Christian organization inspiring positive life change with counselling for families and individuals.
